Collection of general information when visiting our website
Nature and purpose of processing: When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address and similar data. It is processed in particular for the following purposes: ensuring a problem-free connection and a smooth use of the website, evaluating system security and stability, and optimising our website. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person.
Legal basis and legitimate interest: The processing is carried out to safeguard our overriding interest in the stability, security and functionality of our website (Art. 31 revDSG; for visitors from the EU additionally Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Storage period: The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of collection. Server log files are deleted or anonymised at the latest after 14 days.
Hosting
This website is operated by an external service provider (host). The personal data collected in the course of operation (in particular server log files) are processed on the host's servers. As a processor, the host is contractually obliged to process the data exclusively in accordance with our instructions and while safeguarding data protection.
Cookies and local storage
Our website does not use any tracking or advertising cookies. For technical operation, we only store the following information locally in your browser (in what is known as local storage):
- your chosen language setting,
- your cookie decision (consent storage), so that the notice does not appear again on every visit.
This information is technically necessary, remains exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to third parties. We only use analytics or marketing services if you have expressly consented in advance; no such services are currently active. You can delete the locally stored data at any time via your browser settings.
Contact form and getting in touch
Nature and purpose of processing: When you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you transmit (e.g. name, telephone number, requested service and your message) are stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for any follow-up questions.
Legal basis: The processing is carried out to perform pre-contractual measures and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 31 revDSG; for visitors from the EU additionally Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR).
Storage period: Data are deleted at the latest six months after your enquiry has been processed. If a contractual relationship arises, the statutory retention periods apply; after they have expired, the data are deleted. Providing your data is voluntary; however, without a name, contact option and request we cannot process your enquiry.
SSL/TLS encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods corresponding to the current state of the art (e.g. SSL/TLS) via HTTPS.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
